Students and parents from the state of Delaware embarked on the most ambitious HBCU Tour ever! Touring Bowie State, Howard, & Morgan State Universities in one day!!
A highlight of our trip to Lincoln University was having one of our College Success students share his experience with our high school students.
We learned that the Underground Railroad ran through Cheyney University.
We visited The University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Spring Fest.
We visited Delaware State University and Hampton University High School Day.
Our second trip to the Mecca. We learned what it takes to be a Bison.
We learned that the Bowie State torch never goes out, therefore we should never let go of our goals.
The highlight of our Morgan State visit was attending the Morgan State vs Howard Game. Go Bears!
2nd Annual President's Day HBCU Tour, Morgan State University, Bowie State University, National Museum of African American History and Culture, and Howard University.
Fall Virginia HBCU Tour, Norfolk State University, Roller Skating in Virginia Beach, Hampton University, Virginia Union University, and Virginia State University.
We enjoyed learning about Virginia Union University's historical significance in the education of newly emancipated enslaved Americans.
Spending time speaking with current college students allows students to learn organically about HBCU culture.
Two of our students were offered Honors Visitation Invitation, which is an opportunity to receive merit scholarships.
It is important that our students can see themselves in a college classroom with professors that reflect their identities.
Our students always love spending time in "the caf"!
All tours are walking tours given by current students.
Our very first trip, to the MECCA.
