Liberated Success is here to lighten the load for educators.
We apply social-emotional learning and culturally responsive teaching
to workforce development and curate HBCU Tours for school communities.
We facilitate weekly group workshops for students to increase their self-awareness and exploration of their personal interests and strengths, so that they may enhance their knowledge about career options and pathways. Workshops foster a growth mindset and equip students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make informed career decisions, navigate the job market, and achieve long-term success in their chosen career fields.
We provide individual vocational counseling to students with disabilities in the development of their post-secondary education plans. We function as a liaison for the students, families, and educators with adult services agencies to facilitate a successful transition from high school to college, vocational training, or employment. This service is ideal for high school seniors and includes 6 months of follow-up post-high school graduation.
We facilitate a weekly identity–affirming workforce development workshop series that deconstructs professionalism as a construct rooted in white supremacy. Students hone their soft skills so they may apply these skills in an employment opportunity through our employer partners. Students will have support in the employment placement, hiring, and employment retention process.
We customize and facilitate tour logistics of visits to HBCU campuses. Tours range from single-day to multi-day tours. Students participate in a walking tour of the campuses, engage with enrolled students, have lunch or dinner in the cafeteria, and may participate in on-campus community events. Students will understand the diversity of an HBCU education.
We facilitate parent advocacy workshops, and panel discussions and participate in conferences on topics about career development, transition services for students with disabilities, youth workforce development, and choosing an HBCU education.
